I bought this for a friend and set it up for her. It was simple, the display is easy to read and it has a nice, slim, streamlined design. Very convenient to see indoor and outdoor temperature...and it seems to be accurate. The instructions don't dictate it, but I would recommend putting the cable outside a window where it won't get too much sun and cause it to misinterpret the outdoor temperature.

I think I'll have to get one of these for myself now.

I did not want to buy expensive climate control equipment, but was afraid to go cheap. I can only assume this item is accurate to about -/+ 7%. Since my equipment can operate in a range of about 30-60% humidity, I think if I keep my room at about 48-49% based on the COMFORT METER then I am operating in workable environment no matter how accurate or inaccurate this item is.

I think the Temperature is accurate to about +/- 3 degrees.

I think for the price it does exactly what I needed it to do.
