This outdoor thermometer is solar powered so you do not have to worry about replacing batteries or wires. Just place into the ground and enjoy an accurate reading of the temperature day and night. The Solar Thermometer employs a "Fast Charge" electronic circuit for charge even in low sun and cloudy conditions, and an adjustable solar panel for optimum energy collection. A back light lamp comes up automatically at night to assure a reading in the dark. Can also be used as a marker with 2 orange LED bulbs glowing at night. Temperature range -15° to 140° Fahrenheit.
