Taylor Classic Instant-Read Pocket Thermometer

Taylor Classic Instant-Read Pocket Thermometer Review

Unless you are one of the gifted who can tell your food is perfectly cooked by touch, you will find this (or any high-quality) thermometer indispensable. Having family members who have different tastes in beef doneness and a fanatical devotion to making sure my chicken is fully (and safely) cooked, I've used a Taylor thermometer for years. The pocket clip makes it easy to keep on hand with you as you move to stove or grill. There may be fancier or more expensive thermometers out there, but this is a kitchen standby. You can even utilize this to gauge milk-frothing temps or bread baking temps... there are so many applications where a thermometer comes in handy.
